Non Linear Editing (NLE)

Non-linear editing is where you can edit anywhere in the sequence you can start from the end to beginning etc. non-linear is great as it is quicker than linear editing. non – linear editing is done by digital video editing. Non linear editing also means u can go to any frame in the clip and cut it with ease. I believe non-linear editing also makes it easier for people to edit film as u can go anywhere in the time line to change something compared to linear where going back on the film was a pain full process as old linear way of editing meant you having to actually cut the tap and frames and glue the other frames together.
